The Bunny is Coming, The Bunny is Coming
Monday, March 15, Flint, MI—He’s back! The Easter Bunny makes his seasonal appearance at Genesee Valley Center on Saturday at noon in Center Court. He can be found in the newly created live landscape complete with two friendly dinosaurs perched above the garden.
The live landscape is the creation of volunteers from the Genesee Area Landscape and Nursery Association. Every year GALNA volunteers spend a week creating a live garden to envy. This year the landscape will be created right in front of customers’ eyes, during shopping hours the week of March 15.
“The landscape and waterfall offers our customers countless ideas on how to create “curb appeal” and increase the value of their homes,” said Lili Donaldson, marketing manager. “The landscape comes complete with annual flowers, perennials, tower trees and shrubs, a waterfall, landscape sculptures and decorative pavers.”
The live landscape will be changed every two weeks with fresh flowers. On Sunday, April 18 customers will have the opportunity to purchase the landscape items on display at an auction to be held at 5 pm.
Forming a beautiful backdrop for pictures, the Easter Bunny can be found in his custom-built bunny hut in the center of the live landscape. Easter Bunny photo hours are Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m. The bunny will be at Genesee Valley Center through Saturday, April 10.
