December 6, Flint, MI---Kristen Herrick, a Clio native has been named Marketing Manager at Genesee Valley Center, filling the shoes of Lili Donaldson who served the position for the past nine years. Herrick started at Genesee Valley November 5 and is finally settling into her new role.
Herrick is a graduate of Clio High School and attended Northwood University in Midland where she studied automotive marketing and entertainment and sports promotions management. Kristen most recently served as Marketing Manager for Ford Field and the Detroit Lions, where she was in charge of ticket marketing. Herrick previously worked in Marketing for International Speedway Corporation at Daytona International Speedway- Daytona Beach, FL (Home of the Daytona 500) & Richmond International Raceway- Richmond, VA. Both venues host NASCAR racing events.
Herrick is currently serving a third term as vice president of Aid to Injured Riders (AIR) a non-profit organization dedicated to providing financial assistance to injured professional flat track motorcycle racers.
