Great Outdoors Play Place
Flint, MI (February 21, 2008) – This Saturday will be a time of delight at Genesee Valley Center, as local children welcome the brand new play place in the Sears Wing. The new site will spark interest in the outdoors with a giant tree house, crawl through tent and camp fire. And what would a camp fire be without story telling?
Beginning March 1st, “Ranger Don” will read stories around the campfire Saturday’s at 1 and 3 p.m. Ranger Don will take the place of his old friend Merlin the Magician who will bid his farewell this Saturday in the old King Arthur’s Castle play place in the JCPenney wing. King Arthur’s Castle will remain in the Center through the month of March.
In addition to camping fun, the “Great Outdoors” play place will feature a surrounded soft seating area for parents.
