GRAND PAJAMA PARTY WILL HELP GIVE WARMTH TO KIDS IN NEED

Flint, MI (11/15/06) – Genesee Valley Center is hosting the second annual Pajama’s for Comfort Program now through December 22. The main event will be a special pajama party in the King Arthur’s Playground with Santa Claus, December 10 at 5:30 p.m.

The Pajama’s for Comfort Program is a national charity that provides children with warm pajamas, books and teddy bears, year around. The charity has long been featured on Oprah Winfrey’s website as one of her favorite charities. This year, with the help of WNEM, Channel 5, B95 radio and KB Toys, Genesee Valley Center has raised its goal to collect over 500 pairs of pajamas to be donated to Whaley Children’s Center in Flint.

Now through December 22, guests may drop off new pajamas, teddy bears and books at the customer service desk. We will be stuffing the Saturn VUE in center court with the items to show the progress of the goal. Buy a teddy bear at KB Toys any time during the promotion and they will match one to donate.

The grand pajama party will happen in King Arthur’s Castle, December 10 at 5 p.m., hosted by Santa! Guest celebrities from WNEM will perform a special story reading and kids will get to play games, have refreshments and hang out with Ole’ St. Nick. Admission for the party is, you guessed it, a pair of pajamas!
