Gemini to Provide Entertainment
During Day After Thanksgiving Sales
Flint, MI, November 15, 2004—They’ve performed at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Ann Arbor Symphony, the Kansas City Symphony and now at Genesee Valley Center. Gemini, Children’s Entertainment Group of Ann Arbor, will perform live in the JCPenney court, the day after Thanksgiving.
The twin brothers, San and Laz, combine uncannily matched voices with wonderful musicianship on nearly a dozen instruments. Gemini brings to their concerts a natural ease around children. From start to finish, a family concern with the twin brothers abounds with rousing sing-alongs, hand motion tunes, folk tales, and music from around the world.
Gemini will perform at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. near “King Arthur’s Castle,” Genesee Valley Center’s soft playground that opened on Saturday, November 20. The playground is located in the JCPenney court.
The year 2004 marks Gemini’s 31st year playing music together. They have performed at concert halls, festivals, community centers and elementary schools throughout the United States and Canada. In the past 15 years Gemini has released nearly a dozen recordings which have won numerous awards from The American Library Association, Parents Choice Magazine, Early Childhood News and more. Their live concert video, “Fancy That” was voted one of the 10 best children’s videos in the Random House Publication, “The Best of the Best for Children.”
This concert is sponsored by Genesee Valley Center and is FREE for visitors on Friday, November 26th . Bring your family and enjoy the warmth and humor of family life through music.
