Assistant General Manager named

At Genesee Valley Center

 

September 1, 2006 Flint, MI---Turnberry Associates, the management company of Genesee Valley Center, proudly announce the promotion of Stephanie Muma, of Flint Township, to assistant general manager.  Muma has been the property accountant at Genesee Valley Center for the past seven years. 

 

Her role at the center has grown to include the managing of the recent renovation and the 65,000 square foot expansion recently completed at the center.  She will continue her role as the property accountant in addition to the new position as assistant general manager.

 

Muma, a life-time resident of Genesee County, attended high school at Flint Southwestern and earned her bachelor degree from Baker College in Flint.  She previous worked for NuVision Optical for 15 years before joining Genesee Valley Center.

 

“We now have a complete management team,” said Clyde Cooper, general manager.  “Muma has demonstrated she can handle the demands of this important position and we are confident she will expand her skills in shopping center management.”

 

Genesee Valley Center is the largest regional shopping center north of metro Detroit and includes over 130 stores, anchored by Marshall Field’s soon to be Macy’s, JCPenney and Sears.  The new “lifestyle section named “The Outdoor Village,” is anchored by Barnes & Noble Booksellers and the soon to open Bar Louie.  Other tenants include Coldwater Creek that opened in the Outdoor Village in May.  For more information visit geneseemall.com.
