ANNUAL LIVE LANDSCAPE AUCTION--Everything must go!

Posted

3/24/08—FLINT, MI---Landscape elements from Genesee Valley Center’s 2008 Easter display will be auctioned off this Sunday at 3 pm in the mall’s Center Court. The auction is being hosted by the Genesee Area Landscape and Nursery Association (GALNA), who designed and maintained the annual set.

“This is a great opportunity to get top-of-the line plantings at a fraction of the original cost,” said Brian Huyck, owner of H&M Landscaping and president of GALNA. “You can take a piece of this display home and create your own outdoor living space.”

Elements on sale include spring flower bulbs, shrubs, a waterfall, unique ornamental trees, 500 square feet of brick pavers, a geysering rock fountain, a towering gazebo, benches, 10 yards of mulch and more.

The bidders will be assisted by GALNA members to remove their purchases from the center following the auction.  Large items can be removed after 6 pm.
